Cold, wet weather driving a need to find a way to burn your kids’ energy indoors? Consider Jumpin JoJo’s in North Raleigh. Located in a small shopping center just north of 540 on highway 401, it’s very easy to get to and perfect for letting your kids go wild.
When you first walk in, you’ll notice this bounce center is smaller than some others in the area, but don’t let that deter you. This was a huge plus to me as I had both of my kids with me. I’m not a “helicopter parent”, but I do believe in keeping my eye on both of them just in case. My 1 year old needed most of my attention and I could give it to her – even playing in the farmyard smaller inflatable – and I still had a view the entire time of my 6 year old.
Another plus? The friendly staff. We visited on a weekday afternoon while my son was tracked out from school so, for a while, we had the entire place to ourselves. The staff was great about “jumpin” in and playing with him. From racing in the obstacle course to shooting baskets, they were right alongside keeping him active and laughing.
Jumpin JoJo’s does have party rental options and has an area with tables off to one end. They also host parents’ night out opportunities. See the website and/or Facebook (both linked below) for more information.
The bathrooms feature changing tables – a huge plus for those of us with toddlers.
There is a snack bar by the entrance if your kids get hungry or thirsty. As well as a water fountain by the play area so no need to bring along water bottles for the kids. Just remember to bring your socks and have fun!
